Well, I rose this morning to Beck's voice saying, "Hayley, Hayley, it's Christmas". That indeed it was! I looked out my window, and yes, I pinched myself, I’m having a white Christmas. Although it wasn’t snowing, there was white all around and more importantly presents under out little tree. I received a beautiful bracelet from my Mum and Dad and also a gorgeous ‘Canada, Banff’ photo frame with a picture of Beck, Johnny, Bryce and myself up at Lake Louise Chateau. It’s something I’ll treasure and remember my time here in
Unfortunately Beck is working today. So I think Johnny and I are going to take a walk down to the falls and enjoy the fresh (cold) air. Tonight, no doubt I’ll head down to the staff cafeteria and sneak in a free Christmas dinner with everyone…
Anyway, even though I’m not around friends and family, I’m feeling the spirit and thinking of everyone back home. I just wish you all could be here to experience this with me. I miss you all so much (especially this time of year).
I hope you and your families enjoyed the day, ate lots, drank lots and enjoyed the company of the loved ones around you!
