A quick update!

Arrgggg… in a blogging mood! So, what’s been happening of late?!?! I had an enjoyable week this week. With Valentine’s Day, and also two days out of the gym and in training – It was great to mix it up! I received a lovely bunch of flowers when I got home on Valentine’s Day. Along with a big heart balloon and a lovely cooked meal by Klint! I feel that a flight to Canada to live is more than enough, but he persists to spoil me rotten!

As I was saying. I spent two days out of the gym this week, and visited another health club in Calgary to do some continuing education. My first course was on sports performance and the second being special populations and a fitness assessing. Loads of fun! The sports performance course was so interesting, very physical and hands on which I loved. World Health has tones of continuing education so no doubt, I’ll be learning loads!

Apart from that…. A little bit of exciting news on the front!!! I might be staring in a health and fitness DVD! Yep, the “world #1 personal trainer” in North America actually trains at my gym, so he’s asked me to do this thing for his video where I do intense training with him for four weeks, plus go on this hard core nutritional plan to see how lean I can get during that period of time. Before and after pictures will be taken and if he’s happy with the results he’ll probably film me for the video! The training will be very intense, probably about 2-3 hours of work in the gym each day, but I’m up for the challenge. This means no alcohol or yummy sugars – yicks! Anyway, I’m up for the challenge!

Anyways, at the moment Klint and I are enjoying our first long weekend here in Canada! Unfortunately I had to go to a new employee orientation on Saturday so we we’re able to go away for the weekend. But we are hoping to get to the zoo tomorrow after my training. We are finding it a little challenging without a car. We’re not able to pick up and leave for a day trip without hiring a car! So we’ve decided to start playing weekends away in advance. The rockies are just sooooo huge and there’s soooo much to see, so hopefully we’ll get out and about soon enough!

Till next time…
