Just a quick update on things….
Well, it’s been a busy few weeks, that’s for sure! With the passing of Grandad Pobar two weeks ago, things have been a little tough, being a little homesick, but at the same time, it’s certainly made me a stronger person! I have no doubt the Pobar family went out in style at the funeral celebrating Grandad Pobar’s life… He rests in peace now with the love of his life, and I know he’ll be looking over us all with big smiles.
As you can see with the photos below, Klint and I managed to get away for the weekend up to
Klint and I boarded all day on Saturday. For Klint it was his first time on the slopes. Boy, I’ve never seen him with a bigger smile – he loved it! We certainly now know what our second love is – SNOWBOARDING! Hahaha. Unfortunately for us, the season is slowly coming to an end. Apparently it hasn’t really been a good season, but I guess learning in crap conditions means, only room for improvement – right?!?! Anyway, so we hope to get up a couple more times before the winter is over!
Lots happening at the moment with work! I’m taking many continuing education courses, one this Friday and Saturday as well as next Friday and Saturday. It’s so great to be learning new skills and new exercises to keep my clients entertained. My client base is slowly growing… and I’m happy at the fact I’m starting to get referrals which is fantastic. Word of mouth is a wonderful thing!
My training at the moment is going great! I’m putting in the hours and I’m totally in touch with my body and it feels great! I’ve never felt more healthy and have totally cleansed my system!
As for other news, Klint’s younger sister, Petrina who is currently living and working in
Klint is doing great too! He’s getting use to the cold weather, but more excited at the fact it’s starting to warm up! He’s staying healthy too, and generally finishes work around 4-5pm so comes into the gym for a workout till I finish work around 7ish! It’s great, cause then I get his company for the short train trip home.
Well, it’s close to my bed time. I’ve got a late start in the morning (not until 11am) so it will be lovely to have a sleep in before starting my cardio work out at 9am.
Missing you all back homes immensely. Keep those emails (and packages – hehe) coming.
xxx
