Hey hey,
Just going to write a quick one to let you know we're alive and well here in Canada. I do apologise for the lack of blog postings this month. Our internet at home has been down the past few weeks so it's been hard to get on the computers are work to write.
Anyway, things are warming up here Canada. A big 15 degrees on this sunny saturday morning. We're currently at JR and Sandi's place enjoying the sunshine on their deck. Klint's helping Sandi do some work on the deck and JR's helping me make a salad for the Mediterainean pot luck we're going to this afternoon. I've never been to a pot luck before but generally everyone brings a plate of food and lots of beer hahaha. Anyway, so one of the girls from work is hosting it, so should be fun. The sun's up till as late as 9pm these days - just nice.
Things are picking up at work again. Lots of new clients wanting to train and get back into shape for summer.
Oh, NEWS - yes we are moving. We've found a cute little cottage in the suburb next to where we are currently living, named Crescent Heights. Yay! This cute little house is up top of a hill which overlooks the city. It's only costing, Klint, Petrina and I $500 each per month to rent and the guy is leaving all his furniture in it cause he's heading to Toronto for the summer.... which totally suits us. We'll be there till about October, and by then we're suppose to decide whether to renew our visas or not. Lots to think about. Looks like Petrina will be off to England, and for Klint and I... who knows. So no, I don't have the answer to everyone's question "When are we coming home?".
I've got a few exciting adventures coming up though! My trip to LA to see Joel and Sandra is just a week and a half away. I head down on the Thursday night and come back late Sunday night. That weekend is May Long Weekend for Canadians so i'll have Monday to recover... yay!
I keep being reminded how awesome summer is by all the locals (my clients). I played touch football with Kate (another Aussie trainer at my gym) last night at a local park. A big group of people turn up every week to play for about 2-3hours. Loads of fun. The grass is greening up and the trees are just like those in the pictures. It was glorious.. I finally feel like i'm in Canada.
Don't forget Stampede.... yay! It's going to be a crazy week of drinking, with cowboy boots and mini skirts - hahaha! I can't wait.
Anyway, I gotta scoot. Thanks everyone for the emails... I love reading them but unfortunately with limited time on the net at work i can't reply to all of them. I LOVE YOU!
