We're back :(

Well, if I wasn’t already homesick, then I’m certainly homesick now. We had an amazing holiday in the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana. The hot humid air, the beaches, the sand, the relaxed atmosphere reminded me so much of home. I didn’t want to leave. I said to Klint when we were leaving that if there was a flight back to Australia in the boarding area next to ours, I’d probably jump on it.

Anyway, so we’re back in Calgary now after an amazing all inclusive seven days in the Dominican Republic. As you can see from the photos below we not only laid by the beach and pool, but did lots of other stuff too. We road horses along the beach, snorkeled over the reef, swam with the dolphins which kinda freaked us out a bit, Klint went deep sea fishing while I went and had a body wrap and massage and in amongst it all, we drank a sh*t load and probably ate the same amount J

So the dolphin swim was kinda weird. We thought we were heading to the beach to do it all but turns out they took us to this animal park (zoo) and with swam with them there. They jammed a ton of people into the pool side and luckily we jumped the queue cause we would have there for hours. I dunno, but they weren’t very well tamed. Klint nearly got a flipper in the head and they seemed to like my feet and even one girl had to get out of the pool cause they seriously didn’t like her.

Anyway, so all in all it was a fun fantastic holiday. We also met a lovely American couple on the last day. We had dinner with them and really enjoyed their funny stories.

So it’s Stampede week. I’ve had a rough trot already with client cancelling but not to worry. I don’t have much happening to hopefully we can soak up some of the festivities before it all ends.

Mum and Dad, hope you had a wonderful holiday in NZ. I miss you loads… only ten weeks to go right??? YAY!
