2 weeks and 6 days!

I can't believe i'll be hugging my parents in approximately 2 weeks and 6 days. I'm soooo excited. Although, sometimes i feel like i'm living in a dream, it doesn't really feel like i've been gone for nearly 9 months now.

I fly off to Vegas on the 6th of September to meet with mum and dad. There we'll spend 3-4 days in Vegas and then spend just under two weeks driving through the middle of the US where we'll reach Calgary the weekend of the 19th. I'm soooo excited. I'm excited for them to see where i've been living for nearly close to a year now. Although it's not really what i experienced through the winter, i'm sure they'll get the drift. Not only that, our good friends Michael and Rhona arrive in Calgary on the 20th to live and work in Canada. Like both Klint and I they're a little unsure of where and what they'll be doing here... but it will be so nice for us to have close friends to party with and hang out with. The boys are super excited for the winter ahead, full of snowboarding etc.

After that, i've really only got 1-2 weeks to wait till i see my best friend Jodi and her boyfriend Grant in New York City. Jodes and I always dreamed of having a sex and the city weekend in NYC and now it's actually becoming reality. I hoping to fly out on Friday the 5th and get back to town on the Tuesday or Wednesday - soooo good times ahead.

Apart from that, things are well. I'm doing about 3-4 shifts at moxies per week at the moment. Trying fantically to save for my upcoming trips. Looks like Klint might be joining us in Vegas for the weekend but flying home before we start our road trip to work. He's excited, cause he's never been to Vegas before. Also, looks like Petrina may be moving to Victoria to live with friends before she flys out to England mid October.

What else.... hmmmm - not much. Well, i'm going to do some washing and take a nanna nap before my Sunday night shift at Moxies in a couple hours. Fun fun... I miss you all so much at home and think of you so often. I long for the normality of Brisbane alot and can't wait to see you again really soon.
