My first night in rough seas and I slept like a baby!

Hey hey...

Back on deck again! Hope all is well back home and in Canada for those reading.

We had an interesting day yesterday. I was up early at 6am after getting another 3 hours sleep. We were out partying again like i was tell you at that gift wrapping party. It was so much fun... free drinks and dinner (or midnight snack I should say) and all we had to do is wrap 600 presents for the kids on board. Anyway, so I was on Debark yesterday morning. I have to be on the deck at 6:45am sharp to farewell all the guests. Not much fun as you find yourself saying the same thing over and over again "Hope you enjoyed your stay on the Majesty... Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas..., have a safe trip home..." or "Have your sea pass, customs forms, passports and or birth certificate ready..." blah blah blah... Anyway, so we finished that bout 10am and then we had the rest of the day free to do whatever. SO i got about 4-5 hours shut eye before heading back to the rockwall. We left Miami only to hit some bad weather, which is kinda cool for us on deck cause we can't open the wall and nobody wants to be playing any activities, which means we get to go home or back to our cabins i should say! Hooray!

I didn't have any sign of sea sickness. It was terribly windy and I was in someone's cabin when the waves just kept getting bigger and bigger and you could see them smashing up again the port holes in their room. Crazy. I took some video footage so when i can get my laptop up and running through this wireless thing I'll try and post it. Adrian was saying that when he woke up this morning all the dumbells from the gym were in the hall ways and stuff... hahaha too funny! Apparently this weather was nothing compared to what they normally or can have. Very small apparently. Anyway, i slept really well though. We had to do 70's dance night last night again so it was funny trying to dance while the boat was moving.... All good.

We were up again early this morning for a 8am start on the rockwall but again, with the rain and crapy weather we had to close the wall so i got to go to bed for another hour. Yes yes yes... you sleep when you can that's for sure!

Anyway, I had some training today and tomorrow we're in the pool for some life raft training which i have no doubt will be fun.

It's nearly 2pm here and i'm about to hit the gym for a workout as I don't have to be back on the rockwall till 6pm tonight. It will probably be closed again - bonus!

I heard from Issa, my supervisor this morning who tells me that, due to the weather we probably won't make it to Coco Cay tomorrow so will be overnighting in Key West. Apparently this is a very good thing, cause the crew have the opportunity to get off the ship and go run a muck! Yay! We'll be on board all day though for Christmas day as it's a sea day, but no doubt the overnighter will make it worth while. Oh did i mention the food is sh*t... yes - i'm struggling. I constantly have this awful taste in my mouth and I feel crapy but what can you do.

MA- thank you for the lovely email! I loved reading it. I didn't reply cause i wasn't too sure when you were leaving to go back home!

Joel and Sandra, hope you're having a blast in Canada. Miss you both heaps. Will you be going to see Sandi and JR. Tell me tell me!

Mum and Dad... hope you guys have a lovely Christmas. I think of you regularly and miss you a ton, especially with Christmas just around the corner. Hopefully you'll enjoy the time with family, making up for the fact that Joel and I aren't there!

Anyway, I'll sign off now! If you wanna email me direct, I'd love to hear from you (hpobar@hotmail.com).

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Ree
