Hi, I’m Robyn, (pictured on the right), I’m 56 and very new to the personal training concept. I have always struggled with my weight but still been fairly active. When Hayley suggested a personal training class, I was very dubious and was not particularly interested but with some peer pressure and Hayley’s lovely smile, I found it hard to say no. I have suffered headaches over the years and I was a little nervous that the workout would affect me adversely. Hayley talked with me about this and tailored some alternatives to suit me. Before I knew it, I was running (yes….. running), doing pushups, situps, boxing and lots of other activities and circuits that Hayley organised. Over the weeks, I have enjoyed the sessions very much and the most amazing thing, is that my headaches have diminished. Apparently by using and stretching the muscles in my shoulders and neck this has helped to release the tightness. I also feel really energetic, I’m not as tired and feel generally very well. My husband and I are now going on really long fast walks. We are seeing different parts of Brisbane, we walk along the rivers, through the city, and up into the mountains. (not on the same walk, of course ) Thank you Hayley, very much. You have opened up a different experience for me, one which I had resisted, but thanks to your professionalism and gentle pressure I am benefiting greatly.
