Yellowstone to Mt Rushmore :)

It’s been a long day driving! We decided to drive from Yellowstone National Park, Montana to Rapid City in South Dakota. Dad figured while we were out here we may as well go and see Mount Rushmore and Kicking Horse. It should be a fun day all the same but I’m hoping it’s worth this 8 long hours of driving today.

Oh yeah, so Yellowstone was really cool! We saw lots of geysers and mud, bubble caldron like geysers too. Not to mention the amazing wild life and my very first bear sighting. We actually saw them when we were out of the park actually. It was my good eye and sick belly from the winding roads that found em. Hahaha!

Anyway, so we’ll probably be back in Calgary by Thursday where we’ll be staying with Sandi and JR for the weekend before heading to Vancouver via Kelowna and the Okanagan. I’m looking forward to being in the National Park up in BC cause what I’ve seen of it is absolutely gorgeous. Rhona and Mickey arrive this weekend too so it will be lovely to see them and have some new company in Calgary… Well for the little time they are in Calgary anyway!
